International Hub
Helping international students settle in and succeed
One third of University of Leeds students are international, with over 144 nationalities and 42 ethnicities. We are a multicultural and multifaith community that celebrates diversity.
International Hub is packed with resources that will guide and support you – from settling down in Leeds to making friends and finding a community. Everything on this page was suggested by our international students. If you think of something else that should be added, let us know!
Get settled
We know that your first doctor visit, first essay submission, or first attempt at writing a CV can be daunting, especially when you’re doing it in unfamiliar cultural practices. But there are plenty of resources and services to help you settle in!
Get involved and meet people
You have found yourself in a new country, away from home, friends and family. But you are not alone!
There are plenty of schemes, communities and events, run by us and the University, to give you connections and help you make new friends easily.
Be a leader and make a change
University is more than a course – it is your chance to gain valuable experience and memories. Becoming a student leader will empower you to create meaningful change for your fellow students. There are plenty of ways you can make a difference, depending on your interests and passions.
