What did/do you study? I have a background in Medicine and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health.
Your secret talent, special interest, or fun fact? My hidden talent is drawing cartoons.
Favourite place on campus? Crossroads for its vibrant atmosphere and games, Terrace for chilling with drinks and snacks, the open space outside Laidlaw Library, the open media centre at Helix, and the DIY centre at Edward Boyle Library where you can learn to repair almost anything.
Best thing about Leeds? It offers a perfect blend of student life and city living with places like Trinity, Kirkgate Market, Woodhouse Moor Park, and the Royal Armouries Museum.
Tip to get the most out of the student experience? Don’t hesitate to ask for help on campus. Whether you need academic guidance, want to join a society, or are looking for the best spots in the city, reaching out can open doors to valuable experiences and connections.

What did/do you study? I am doing a Master’s of Public Health International at the School of Medicine.
Your secret talent, special interest, or fun fact? I am a good language learner. My area of interest is research; I am a junior researcher with an interest in the health discipline.
Favourite place on campus? LUU and Health Science Library – I’ve spent most of my time as a student in the library and LUU.
Best thing about Leeds? Leeds is a student-friendly city, and it is one of my favourite cities in England. I like its green spaces, museums and galleries, and historical and architectural attractions. I would describe Leeds in three words: Vibrant, Historic, Diverse.
Tip to get the most out of the student experience? Balance your academic responsibilities with social activities – good time management is key. Also, take care of your mental and physical health – participate in sports, join fitness clubs, and use university health services if needed.

What did/do you study? I am a second year International Relations student.
Your secret talent, special interest, or fun fact? I love acting, particularly performing in student society shows. I am also taking up a new hobby of making my own elderflower champagne!
Favourite place on campus? Terrace, without a doubt; I love having a 2-4-1 cocktail, dough balls and a chicken pesto salad!
Best thing about Leeds? So much! I love going to Belgrave for free yoga and getting half price pizza.

Tip to get the most out of the student experience? Be open-minded! You are at a fantastic university where you are going to meet so many different people. Set yourself secret missions to get to know someone from a new place, and form new bonds. You’ll feel so enriched by broadening your social experience.
