An important part of our work is tracking the impact that our activity has on our members, making sure that we are hitting our goals and ensuring that our students love their time at Leeds. That’s done through a variety of methods, including surveys, focus groups and simply chatting to the students who use our services – and that’s precisely what we’ve done in this video.
From bringing like-minded students together and developing skills and passions, to supporting the local community through volunteering or boosting students’ wellbeing during the pandemic, our clubs and societies make an invaluable contribution to our members’ happiness during their time at Leeds.
The students we spoke to told us how clubs and societies have “defined their time at university”, and helped them find “friends for life”. It’s evident that clubs and societies at LUU are a vital part of the Leeds student experience, with a positive impact that reverberates through our community.
