How would you describe your key responsibilities as a School Rep, and what does a typical week look like in this role?
As a School Rep you get to exchange ideas and overcome issues together, helping students who are not usually heard. Responsibilities include organising and chairing meetings, writing agendas, developing feedback polls and surveys, and listening and helping students with possible issues.
What skills have you gained and developed as a School Rep?
I’ve developed public speaking, organising and managing meetings, and time management skills as a result of the work I’ve done.
How do you think being a School Rep is helping you get ready for your future?
As everyone is working in a team nowadays, being a School Rep helped me immensely leading and organising meetings, as well as formulating a issue properly and presenting it in formal language.
What’s your biggest win or proudest moment as a School Rep?
The collaboration with the SWJT campus in Chengdu.
