Your wellbeing remains the most important thing and we are working hard to ensure you are supported, wherever you’ll be studying. LUU will be open and here for you.
As always, you can access Help and Support services online, by email, and over the phone on 0113 3801 400. The helpdesk in the LUU building will also be open from 9:30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
This includes financial support – our hardship fund is available and we urge you to get in touch if you are worried about your financial situation during this time.
We’ll also be urging the University to consider the impact of this year’s events on your studies and assessment, and are working with the University to offer an appropriate rent refund to those in halls – further details will be sent as soon as possible.
You can stay up to date about events and activities which will be running online on our website and social media channels, and you can join the Exec on the LUU Student Community Facebook Group.
We also want to extend a warm welcome to those of you who have joined Uni of Leeds in January, or have just arrived in Leeds. If you are an International Student, there’s loads of support available to you: stay in touch with the International Student Office, Link to Leeds ambassadors and the Language Centre. You can also access advice on self-isolation and other support.
