- If you think you or a member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms you can check these using the NHS symptom checker, or by calling 111. If you have COVID-19 symptoms you should get a test which you can book online using the NHS test booking website. If you do not have symptoms but another member of your household does, you need to self-isolate for 14 days.
- Students who are self-isolating or who have tested positive for COVID-19 need to let the University know. If you have tested positive then you should fill out the COVID-19 Reporting Form, and if you are self-isolating then please register this using the online absence notification available on Minerva – once you’ve logged in, click on the Student Services icon in the top right hand corner to find the form.
- There is lots of help and guidance available for people who are self isolating. We would recommend reading the University guidance for students who are self isolating, you can look up a lot of information using our self-help pages, and we encourage you to join the LUU Student Community Facebook Group where you can connect with other students online.
Extra help from LUU
We know it’s tough for students right now, but we – working closely with the university – will do everything we can to help everyone through this.
Please take a look at LUU Help & Support’s winter break opening times – which are different to those during term time – here.
Don’t forget that you can also be part of the ‘students helping students’ movement that is the LUU Leeds Student Community Group on facebook.
