Crossroads
Welcome to Crossroads
A modern gaming lounge and a cosy socialising space on campus? Yes, please!
Crossroads is a space co-created by students at Leeds and staff at LUU, with one goal – to give you a place to relax, hang out, and have fun.
“It’s been amazing seeing crossroads grow over the past year! It’s such a vibrant space, both for students to hang out in the day and for societies to have a place to call home in the evenings and weekends. It’s also a fantastic place for larger events like Women and Non-Binary Gaming Day. The versatility of the space with folding tables, board games, consoles and 5 gaming PCs makes it a perfect space for everyone and I can’t wait to see it grow further! I’m a frequent visitor so be sure to say hi!” – Ashley Pearce, General Interest Rep 2024-25

Play, watch, read, de-stress - welcome to our multi-functional entertainment lounge!
Crossroads is free of charge and all students are welcome! You can find us next to Joblink, in Union Square.
So, what is Crossroads?
Designed with student guidance, Crossroads is a multifunctional space. It is a cosy gaming lounge, equipped with computers for e-gaming, and tabletops for all sort of games from tabletop RPGs to competitive card games to a fun board game with friends. There’s also a console zone to play games, read from our manga/comic library and relax.
Crossroads is a great space to meet friends (new and old,) relax after a long lecture or find out more about LUU and opportunities through our Helpdesk and pop-ups!
Additionally, Crossroads is our Give It A Go hub where you can come to find out about the plethora of extra-curricular activities that take place across campus.
“Spaces are something that are really important to our students, and I hope Crossroads creates a special home and identity for many of our clubs and societies. Crossroads will be a space that fosters collaboration and engagement between our student groups and will hopefully provide a gateway for even more students to engage with LUU. Student input has been an essential part of this project and we’re really grateful to everyone who has helped shape it, I hope the rest of our students love it as much as we do!” – Ella Williams, Activities and Opportunities Officer 2022-24
