Festive drinks
In our coffee shops Balcony and Common Ground, we’re serving:
- Biscoff Latte – a caramel latte with whipped cream, caramel sauce and a Lotus Biscoff biscuit. £3.50
- Nutty Hot Chocolate – dark hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. £3.50
- Peppermint Mocha – a classic mocha with mint syrup, topped with whipped cream and candy cane pieces. £3.50
- Add a chocolate fudge brownie to your drink for £1.00
In Scream, we’re offering a non-alcoholic mulled winter juice – that’s warm apple and cranberry juice with festive spices.
And if you’re looking for the real deal, the bar in the winter tent on the precinct is your place to head, with lots of festive beverages on offer.
Lunch
After a festive twist to your usual lunch? Head to Common Ground or Balcony for a brie and cranberry toastie, or nip into Co-op for one of their popular festive sandwiches – there’s even a vegan turkey sandwich.
Snacks and sweet treats
The only thing that can make baked goods even better is a bit of festive magic! In Common Ground and Balcony you can find:
- Gingerbread Blondie – a white chocolate blondie with a layer of gingerbread £2.25
- Christmas Pudding Brownie (VG) – a vegan chocolate brownie topped with Christmas pudding bits £2.25
- Gingerbread Cupcake – a gingerbread cupcake with salted caramel topping and a ginger biscuit £2.50
- Almond Stollen slice – pastry, festive mincemeat and almond frangipane topped with marzipan £2.00
If you’re after a traditional mince pie, look no further than Scream, where you can get your hands on a warm mince pie topped with your choice of ice cream. They’re also currently offering a festive limited edition Chocolate Orange Brownie – a warm chocolate fudge brownie topped with a scoop of Chocolate Orange ice cream, whipped cream, warm chocolate sauce and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange segment and wafer.
Cooplands bakers have also got lots of festive specials on – both sweet and savoury – so be sure to check out their offering.
Something more substantial
Looking to book a festive social for a society or just want a dinner with lots of friends? Old Bar has got you covered, offering festive two-course meals for groups of 8+ from 22 November – 10 December. The menu features typical Christmas dinner offerings, with both meat and vegan options available, and must be booked in advance.

If a buffet’s more the vibe, Terrace and the winter tent are the place to look. They’re offering a festive buffet at just £6.50 per person from 22 November – 10 December. The offer is available for groups of 10 or more, and caters to both vegans and meat eaters.
