Postgraduate Hub
We're here for PGs
Postgraduate life might seem like it’s all about the degree sometimes, but that’s far from true. Keeping a healthy work-life balance, staying connected with other PGs and finding support for your studies when necessary are all really important, and your Union can give you a hand with all of them.
Postgraduate Hub is packed with resources that will guide and support you – from settling down in Leeds to making friends and finding a community.
Be represented and supported
Our Student Exec, and the Academic Engagement Team are at the forefront of LUU’s mission to provide representation and opportunities for the PGR students. The International & Postgraduate Officer is a role which enables a close and direct relationship between LUU, the University, and PGR students, while PGR reps provide us with further insight into the PGR experience.
For academic support, contact our Academic Engagement team at AcademicSupport@luu.leeds.ac.uk.
Find your community
As a PG student, it might be harder for you to feel like you belong, but you are a part of the Leeds community! Our clubs and societies welcome everyone, and we have a wide range of events open to every student.
Our weekly Postgraduate Cafe is a space for postgraduates to connect, share experiences, and relax over free hot drinks and biscuits.
Enjoy your own study and socialising space
Are you a PGR student? Make sure to check out the PGR Lounge!
Located on the balcony over The Refectory, the PGR Lounge is a space for collaboration, study, and support, for our PGR students. It offers facilities for quiet study, and for collaborative work. There is a boardroom for meetings, and a dedicated unit to support postgraduate students. There is also an interactive wall board to find and share updates and opportunities.
