LUU is Best Bar None

LUU has been awarded 100% in its score from Best Bar None, an award that works towards reducing crime, rewarding excellence and making pubs, bars and clubs safer for everyone.

After a visit from a mystery shopper, an on-site visit from the Best Bar None team and a hefty application, Best Bar None found out that we are doing everything right.

Chris Morris, Union Affairs Officer at LUU said: “It’s excellent to see LUU’s Bars & Venues achieving 100% from Best Bar None, ensuring that our members’ welfare is looked out for when they are visiting our venues, as well as making sure they have a safe way home through our Night Bus service. Thank you to all our full time and student staff in our Bars & Venues team who’ve achieved this award through the great work they do every day. It highlights their dedication to make sure that the experience students have is at the heart of everything they do!”

LUU is 100% about student safety and we’re happy to announce that this has been recognised through the Best Bar None scheme.
